Step 1.  

REALIZE God loves you and offers a wonderful plan for your life. (John 10:10)

Step 2.  

ACKNOWLEDGE the human's race's problem: SEPARATION from God because of sin. (Romans 3:23)

Step 3.  

RECOGNIZE God's remedy: JESUS CHRIST died on the cross in your place. (Romans 5:8)

Step 4.  

RESPOND by trusting Christ alone for forgiveness of sin and eternal life.  "To all who receive [Christ] they become Children of God." (John 1:12)
